Anyone read Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad? It's such a big book containing 110 pages, I don't know how I'm going to cope with the reading of such a huge novel! Ha Ha. It's for my English module wonderfully title Colonial and Post Colonial Africa! I'm was worried that the books were going to be awful and that there were going to be loads of them, but they don't seem too bad and there are only 10 I need to read over the year. That I was deeply grateful for as there are a lot of other things I have to do, like research for my Dissertation on 'Left Behind' and my independent study module about childhood in the Middle Ages! Should be interesting that's for sure.
I've finally decided to get my Lord of the Rings Special Edition DVD boxset, I've found on for £25 so I'm snapping it up right away. All I need to do now is get my DVD player. That isn't so urgent, so it can wait a while. All I care about is the fact I will own the set and be able to watch it! Yay for me. I also found the perfect gift for Sarah, which I can't say what it is because she'll find out and it'll ruin the surprise... what's the point of a gift if you know what it is? Also I've managed to track down some manuals for Sims University and Nightlife, I'm one of these weird people who like to have the manuals to their computer games, especially ones which are played a lot.
Went to see History of Violence on Friday night... not overly sure what to make of it, it had the potential of being a really good film but it seemed to lack something that I'm not quite sure of.Viggo was stunning as always, but I did get the impression that even he didn't quite get what was going on. Random people got killed, there was no explanation for why he disappeared and changed his name and way of life, and then after all the horror he goes home and sits down to dinner with his wife and kids! A helping hand here people, what was it about and what happened? I'm stumped.
Never mind his next film has to be better. Maybe he should go back to films with horses, he's good in those.
Well that's it, I've got to write an email to the Book Reviewer of the Church Times (don't ask), so I'd better get on with it. Keep happy peeps. Hugs.

I do understand about the manuals to yoru computer games though lol. I like all my software to be well documented. Unless I write it myself. Manuals suck.
Stay gorgeous babes!
